Went to JDS automotive center after having a terrible experience at another automotive center in Waldorf. Steve, the owner and operator made the appointment quick and easy. When presented with an obstacle he was patient and thorough. This is one of the few automotive centers I felt was honest in their work. Thank you for your help today getting me back on the road.

JDS is great. Steve is that rare mechanic you can TRUST - fitting that their location is "Trust Place"! I came to Steve several years ago when nobody else in the area would touch my older Honda because of a suspected transmission leak. Steve did not hesitate to take a look, and it turned out the problem had been misdiagnosed! Steve and team take their time to listen to your concerns and ask clarifying questions. Steve has an impressive and extensive knowledge of MANY makes and models of cars, as well as of their quirks and common problems. He thoroughly explains what's going on with your vehicle, even popping the hood and pointing out parts and systems - and does NOT talk down to you as though you "wouldn't understand" no matter your mechanical experience level. Debbie is a cheerful and supportive voice on the phone, and is clear with suggestions, instructions, and pricing. And that's another thing - when able, JDS offers options to fit your budget, and are not pushy for you to take the most expensive route. I highly recommend JDS Automotive Center for full-spectrum vehicle repairs and maintenance.

I've taken my vehicle to JDS several times and have always had a great experience. Debbie is an absolute delight and her customer service is exceptional. Steve is a top-notch mechanic and extremely knowledgeable. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile for their customers is the reason I won't take my vehicle to any other shop!

JDS Automotive Center is by far the very best place in Southern Maryland to take your vehicle for service and maintenance. The staff is friendly and very professional. The mechanic who serviced my vehicle was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me what was wrong with my vehicle. He also advised me of additional issues found and provided his professional recommendations. I found their prices to be very reasonable for the services rendered (compared to the prices in the area from dealerships and other local automotive shops). In addition, I was able to get an appointment for service right away. The most impressive part of all is that their customer service is impeccable, top notch. I was very pleased with my experience at JDS Automotive Center, as it was my first time going there.
