  Best neck surgeon ever. Dr Riders with Disc of Louisiana takes his time to explain everything. He is very polite, knowledgeable, experienced and thoughtful. He made sure to follow up with a phone call the next day. I would recommend him to anyone needing neck surgery. I am extremely happy with him. Once they know if I will have back surgery, I will definitely go to Dr. Riders for surgery again. The staff was also great.

  I struggled for approximately one year with debilitating nerve pain & numbness. I tried PT, and many other therapies. Nothing would relieve my pain. I was referred to Dr. Justin Owen where he recommended disc replacement and fusion. After surgery I had immediate relief! It has been 6 weeks now and I still feel absolutely zero pain. The surgical site only presented minimal discomfort for a very short time. Thank you Dr. Owen for giving me my freedom back!

  I brought my 93 year old father to see Dr Owen. He was so wonderful in explaining what his options were and my father decided to move ahead with having surgery!! Dr Owen was very patient with him and very thorough as to what he would do during the surgery. My father is pain free now thanks to Dr Owen. Surgery was a complete success!! We are two for two!! Dr Shamieh did surgery on myself one year ago and again another successful surgery. I highly recommend Disc of Louisiana! My experience with these two doctors were beyond pleasurable!!

  I was treated like a family member by Dr. Owens and his entire staff. I have never experienced this level of professionalism and friendliness before and was blown away. I was living with horrific nerve pain and had exhausted all options before seeing Dr Owens. I’m now 2 weeks out of surgery and feel like I have a new lease on life. Can’t thank him and his team enough!

  I was very pleased in Dr Owen’s kindness in coming in and talking to me before the surgery. It was very reassuring since I was extremely nervous about having back surgery for the first time. He and all of the nurses at Avala were very nice. Also, when I met Paige his assistant, at the first follow-up at 2 weeks, she was very likable and kind also. I feel so much better now after the surgery. Just hope that it still feels this good after the 6 weeks are up when I will see Dr. Owen again. I do tell all of my friends how happy and lucky I was to have Dr. Owen at Disc.
