Abita Dental Care

For me dental appointments are an absolute nightmare. I have anxiety disorder and I avoid the dentist at all costs. This has lead to many issues that need to be addressed. I now have full confidence in my care team and the care plan provided by Dr. Steve. I am so happy I found this dentist office and that they are caring for me. They are all so kind and understanding of how to deal with my anxiety and they don’t mind me asking a million questions. Thank you all!!!

My son who is on the spectrum was terrified of dentists thanks to bippos house of horrors! Dr.Steve actually took time to get to know my son and put him at ease. After seeing 5 or 6 dentists who all wanted to put my baby under sedation and take the teeth out then.after multiple failed attempts to get his tooth pulled we finally found an amazing dentist who is also a man of God do what other dentists couldn't and that is finally getting my son's tooth extracted¡

This place is the best! My son was so scared of the Dentist that no one could work on him. A coworker told me about Dr. Steve, so we took our son and they were able to sit down with him, explain what they were going to do & show him all the tools. They let him hear what each tool sounded like and see what it felt like. Just taking that small amount of time removed all fear from my son. He loves going to Abita dental it’s exciting for him now.

I was very picky when I chose this Dentist. Location/convenience was a factor, but not a priority. The super friendly staff is definitely a bonus, but once I learned that Dr. Steven Pfingsten makes/designs dentures in house, and then sends them to the lab for the final product, I was thrilled!!
He listened to EVERYTHING I said and happily made every adjustment I asked for, with a smile. Five stars, across the board!! I’ll definitely recommend this place!!
