(December 29, 2020, 9:11 am)This is where the 2016 film Showing Roots was filmed. We made this former vacant space Dee's Cafe for several scenes in this movie. Very shortly after the movie wrapped, the Real D's opened for business! Real friendly folks run this place. I highly recommend. Showing Roots starred Uzo Aduba, Elizabeth McGovern, & Cicely Tyson! You can watch it on Prime or iTunes

(September 24, 2019, 1:39 pm)Very friendly and amazing food. Only place where I can have a home cooked meal and drink for 2 for $12. Definitely coming back next time I am around these parts.
(February 28, 2019, 6:41 pm)The food was great! A regular size plate with enough food to fill you up completely was only $5. Ms. D is awesome, too. This is my new go-to place for great served quickly at a really great price.
