So, I happen to be close to the visitor center and was excited to find out about local sites, but to my surprise it was not open at 1pm on a Wednesday!
Google says it should be open until 4:30?!
I called and left a message as well. If they return my call in a timely manner then I will consider giving a higher rating.
Update: they returned my call the next day and explained two of their workers were out with Covid. I updated the star rating.
A wonderful spot for information about the parish. Wonderful if you aren't sure what you might want to do. Make sure to ask for Ms. Trudy she was so pleasant to speak with. I would recommend stopping by for anyone new to the area. Even locals can find something here!
GREAT CARING STAFF! Very informative with a full library of amazing information about the area from restaurants, tours, wedding information, plantations, hotels, businesses, and much more.
