Old Bardstown Inn

Great location in a quiet neighborhood.
Like that we can park right outside our rooms.
Rooms recently remodel (we stay here every Fall).
Lite breakfast fare and coffee, even when it was just us in three rooms.
Rooms were serviced everyday.
My roommate likes the room cold, as in artic. I used an extra blanket the first night. The second night, I discovered that the blanket was made up in the bed!

Nice newly renovated rooms (as of fall 2022), comfortable beds, clean. Great value. Accommodating, hospitable, staff. I am a picky sleeper and this room checked most of my boxes. It had a an AC unit capable of consistent noise. Was not loud. The curtains could have worked a little better to keep the light out, it was hard to adjust them to not have a crack of light peeking through the middle. Would stay again

This is an economy lodging in a historic district. The facility was clean, the owner was pleasant and helpful, and the faculty is well located.
If you are expecting frills and posh accommodations, this will not be your hotel. However, for the price it was excellent.
