The Nature School at LaFontaine Early Learning Center

Working at The Nature School at LaFontaine has been an incredible experience. The bond that I have made with these kids and teachers is something I will forever be thankful for. I love everything we do here and everything we stand for! I love seeing how kiddos truly thrive in the outdoor setting. I have grown tremendously as a teacher and person from my experience here and I love seeing that in the students here as well. I can’t wait to send my own kids here one day!

I recently rejoined the LaFontaine family as a teacher again, but this time at The Nature School! I absolutely love what we do here. The kids are amazing, we have SO much fun every single day, and the growth in each kid is so obvious and exceptional even after just a few months! Working at The Nature School has been such an amazing experience so far, I can’t wait for my own kids to join us here!

I can not describe the joy i get from pictures frommy granddaughters school. It is a nature/farm school. She is in pre k. My moms family were farners and her grandfathers family were farmers for many generations. To see her experience all the things she does at this unique school warms my heart. I am sure there are generations of family members smiling down at this sweet child as she experiences things that can only be experienced in this setting.

I mean is it any wonder I’m going to rate us 5 stars?!? That’s high praise and there’s always room to improve but at the end of the day, this is as unique of a space for early learning as exists in central Kentucky. My son is participating during the inaugural year at The Nature School and is having a great experience. He’s learned important pre-kindergarten skills but he’s also gained from having an experience that incorporates the outdoors as The Nature School does.
