Schnucks Edwardsville

Walk into the smell of fresh flowers and loads of fresh produce. There's a massive selection at great prices. The isles are bright and clearly marked. It's always been clean with friendly helpful staff.

We will start driving 20 minutes to shop here. Our local Walmart prices have skyrocketed. Schnucks prices are actually lower. And, super friendly staff. One man left what he was doing to find something for us. Without acting like we were bothering him.

I was in E-ville doing some other shopping in the same strip-center that this Schnucks was located. I was planning to shop at my local Schnucks when I returned home, so I thought why not try this one since I was already here.

WOW! This one is way classier than mine just a few towns away. As I shopped for my baking supplies, I was drooling over the larger and better varieties of product. There were times I actually thought I was in the other local family grocer store that begins with a D. This store just had a upscale feel to it.

I was there to buy baking supplies for Irish Soda Bread and ingredients for Mint Chocolate Ice Cream. However, I did get sidetracked with their amazing meat department. I couldn't resist, grabbing a couple packages of beef.

Had had multiple items, so I opted to go through line with a cashier. She was efficient and friendly and so was the bag boy.

I think when I am E-ville doing other shopping, I may just make a stop here, too.
