(November 7, 2021, 8:00 pm)The SIUE fitness center is an extensive facility with many offerings. My mom has been teaching yoga here and I've been attending her classes. The room we are in has a shock absorbing floor and I love the way it feels. There is also a neat rock climbing room; however, I've yet to try it.

(October 29, 2020, 6:06 am)I joined as a student in 1993 and have retained a membership for the 22 years I’ve lived near here. This has consistently been one of the nicest facilities in Metroeast Illinois and provides a fantastic value for students, staff, and alumni. Workout machines, are top notch, professional, and regularly updated. Six courts provide options from basketball to badminton to indoor hockey. A recently added weight room vastly improved the offerings. The local swimmers see the Olympic distance pool as a fantastic secret. I’ve personally logged over 1,000 miles on the 1/8 mile indoor running track. And most classes are free for drop in with a membership. Oh yeah, the rock wall is pretty popular as well.
