Monterrey Mexican Grill

Very good Mexican food. Wife and I split Texas fajitas for one and it was enough for both of us. Great bang for your buck. Only complaints were that the drink prices weren't on any menu we were provided (were a good deal in the end, just would have liked to know) and the steak in the fajitas had a bit of chewy grizzle.

Not a bad place, steak was over done, but Willey was a great sever. The flan was made in house and it is great. Staff very attentive.

The food is pretty tasty and consistent. The staff is very friendly. The bar is cozy and has a lot of regulars which is awesome 👍.
The veggie burrito was smaller than something you'd order at Del Taco or Taco Bell. That's my only reason for not giving it 5 starts.

Ummm really good actually. I was surprised, but everything turned out well. Even the sweet tea I asked for was like perfection. Carne asada is great. Very juicy. I got a well-done it didnt come burnt. The salsa and chips are really good. Not super oily like other Tex-Mex places I’ve had. A major key here is the Jalapeño Cheese Dip.
Oh. My gosh So good. So good.
The corn tortillas also did not crumble while eating.

Great location, just down the road from the Gwinnett Stipers minor league baseball. Want Mexican before or after the game? Head here. The food is fresh, hot, and authentic. Very friendly staff and the service is excellent. Very delicious. Highly recommend when in the Buford area.
