(July 29, 2023, 7:32 am)me and my hubs have been here for quite some time, Mitch is wonderful as well as Holly in the office. they are not tolerable of any crazy people, partying or really any rules violation. Ann run a tight ship and keep it cleaned up in here which I can definitely appreciate because we've been to some very trashy places. if you need anything they are all available at a text or a phone call, anytime. we've lost power or water they have provided drinking water. there's so much wildlife and there's a park across the street that you can walk, a fenced lot for dogs to play and tons of fishing since the campground backs up to the river! to bath houses are clean nightly, there's laundry on site, firewood delivered to each site, as well as having a company come in to refill propane!
(June 15, 2023, 1:34 pm)It's a nice place to stay, there is actually no playground. It has a nice pool and a nice camping area.
Don't bring glass into the pool area lol and do not make too much noise at night or you will get kicked out in the morning as I did.
Not a hotel...
(June 7, 2023, 6:31 pm)This RV park is amazing. Anne & Holly are always friendly and very helpful and has lots of patience with all of my questions.
Whenever I've had issues, they have been quick to assist me.
The amenities are clean and organized . Community pool & Kayak access to the river.
Easy walking distance to Snooks Haven restaurant too.
(April 22, 2023, 3:08 pm)I would like to 1st start off by saying how absolutely Impressed I am with the Overall morale and resiliency of the people working so very hard To Make this piece of paradise exactly what it was before the storm hit. As an avid camper and outdoor enthusiast I have traveled across the united states camping in every kind of environment one can imagine, there's nothing to compare to this place here, It truly is a slice of old Florida. It is literally the best of 2 worlds. There is an amazing river side restaurant outback that you would never even know Was there with live music almost daily. There are nature walks and you're surrounded by the most beautiful landscape of canal and river area. The fishing is spectacular and the views are Like something out of a novel. It is very peaceful here I've rarely slept better at a campground, the wild life is abundant, you wake up here greeted by the sounds of every kind of bird under the Florida sun, it truly is the place to camp if you're looking for an authentic outdoors experience, with all the ease and convenience of an KoA. There's cold ice and warm showers, the facilities are very well kept and the grounds people take amazing care of the sites and waters edge, its a great place to bring the kids there's everything here you could want or need on vacation with town only a few minutes down the road. I got a little wordy but that's because camp Venice really is far above par when it comes to an inexpensive camp ground. Like I said I'm beyond impressed! Five stars you're totally missing out if you're in the area and stay else where.
