Great little bistro.. Opened 3 months ago...offering East European foods like perogies, stuffed cabbage and other entrees, plus a variety of breads, and a wonderful array of sweet pastries and cakes. The honey cake is to die for! Dine in or take out. Lots of parking. Paul, the manager, will take good care of you!

Fabulous cafe. Don’t bother with chain restaurants. This place is amazing. Cakes are unbelievably delicious. Great breads. The offers are perfection. Head here for lunch and you won’t be disappointed. Wonderful family owned bakery, cafe, restaurant.

HIGHLY recommend! Authentic Eastern European cuisine. Menu includes soups, salads, quiches, pierogis (MANY choices), hamburgers, breads, desserts and more. The owners are delightful, modern atmosphere with old world quality and care.
Mushroom/Bacon Quiche with small salad - the real deal packed with flavors. Latte prepared and served with tiny chocolates and hazelnuts. Oh so good!

This is one of the best restaurant for Eastern European food in Sarasota. The food is fresh and it seems from a from high quality ingredients. It has large variety of baked food and other European foods. We had a pea soup and avocado sandwich. Both were large portions and very tasty. The atmosphere in Bacres place is calm and inviting with a good music. Also, the staff is friendly and officiant. We will be back soon to try kolbasa and perigees!

Very delicious food and salad, we tasted a special style coffee with an European sweets afterwards. The place have a big menu of freshly baked breads and they were also willing to vacuum seal it for us. We will be definitely back.
