(January 25, 2024, 12:29 pm)I love this park. I have been able to visit twice in 2 years. Both very different experiences with the wildlife. I have missed the boat rides both times. This time I was able to take the tram tour which was nice. Our family loves viewing the Alligators.
(February 28, 2022, 12:16 pm)Our family has explored Myakka River State Park several times over the years. Always an exciting time crossing the tree canopy bridge and tower, and seeing alligators up close.
(December 25, 2021, 6:15 pm)Guide was informative. Excellent 1 hr boat tour across lake with alligators and birds. The tram tour was very good. Drove out they dry prairie and saw turkey and deer. Natural Florida the way you want to see it!
(March 4, 2019, 9:28 pm)The New Pontoon boat tour is quiet and the captains are well educated about the local wildlife and the history of this huge lake on the Myakka river . We recently took the early (9AM) tour which is far less crowded. The boat was very comfortable and our captain was quite good at spotting and explaining wildlife and plants. Well worth the cost for the enjoyable 1 hour cruise!
