Had a 3 day trial, and it was awesome! There’s definitely a lot to learn, but every time I leave, I feel sweaty and energized

This has been my favorite gym in the local area since I’ve started jiu jitsu. There is something for everyone here, and truly a community of learners, friends, and martial artists. Everyone here is kind and one of my favorite things about it is seeing the high retention rate of new BJJ students. I believe the culture here is conducive to learning jiu jitsu and one of supporting each other in a process of continuous improvement. Jay is a phenomenal coach and is always integrating new elements of BJJ into the curriculum to help us get better, and he also encourages people to develop their own unique style.

First, Jay is the greatest coach I have ever had. He is next level when it comes to breaking things down and ensuring everyone understands. Beyond that, he is just a great person. No one could be a better role model. He has managed to not only create a gym but create a family. Highly recommend coming in.

Minor disclaimer: I’ve had only one class there… But sometimes when you get a feeling about a person or place you just know. Ya know? And I know this place rocks!! Everyone I came into contact there was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I stopped by a few weeks ago to meet with Jay and tour the place and immediately went home and signed up even though I knew I wouldn’t be able to make it back for a couple of weeks. The entire place is clean and well lit. Everyone is very respectful. And I had a great time meeting some wonderful ladies at the She Devil jiu jitsu. When you’re there you feel like they want you there for you, not just your money. Highly recommend!
