I think that Pastor Glen is very good pastor. Everyone is very welcoming and the services are fun!
This church has been here for decades, I live around the corner and walk my dog in the area. Community type church, very nice and quaint.
One little church has so much. "Lord God continue to bless these Christian people as they reach out to others with God's Word." I was there for a short time and was able to benefit from the pastor's right-on preaching. I loved how he got my attention with interesting information and stories and then linked it to God's Word...I was focused. Also enjoyed the car show, the fish fry and hanging soap on people's doors, all outreaches to make known God's love. Not as 'perfect' people but people trying together to praise God's name. Happy Easter!
Calvary Baptist Church is a family friendly country church. They offer a lot for everyone. Children's program, Teen Talk, Sunday school for all ages. 9:45 is Sunday school, church service at 11. Wednesday night bible and prayer for adults. And children's and teen talk program at 6:30. Free meal at 5:30 on wed. Prior to all meetings. Partnered with Hope for the children's ministries for many events including tutoring for 6th grade and up. Plus hosted a free teen summer camp for 8 weeks.
I love this church my grandpa use to be the preacher here. He's name was Terry McKenzie. I have so many memories there as a little girl. This is the church that I'm definitely getting married at.
