I've had few cars repaired of past 25 year all over coast. I'm usually a DIY person but I know my limits and know when I need to take my car to repair shop. Carters auto repair are few and far between. there is not many high quality and honest repair men anymore left out there. I've worked in service industry for 30+ years and this shop is A+ , 5 Star , Premium. I have been all shops in Nassau County and they all want to pick and choose the easy repair work and say it will be 2 to 4 weeks for repairs because they don't want to do the work or give a outlandish Price $$$$$. Great Customer service Old Style. which no longer exist in this fast paced society we live in today. Well worth the money even if you pay a little extra.!!

They did a full brake job in and out in just a few hours (even though they had to order a part). Tommy is the nicest guy too! Highly recommend them.

Excellent service, I was traveling from FL To PA. Has flat tire, very stressful moment, google showed 4.9 stars for Carter auto repair. Stopped by to fix it. The owner was very pleasant to talk to, involved his workers to take care of my car. Fixed it right away. After meeting such a great person. My street came down. Carter Auto is definitely 5 stars, I can’t agree anything less than that.

Tommy and his crew are great. High recommend any type of service. From your routine oil change to your four wheel brake job and alignment. Terrific prices very thorough great attention to detail these guys don’t miss a beat.
