Flamingo Marina

We saw manatees at the marina along with an active osprey nest. Also saw a crocodile at the marina. This was before leaving and going on the boat, so it's worth a stop at the marina (not just the visitor center)
Went on a boat ride here out onto the bay. It was almost 2 hours for $40 (adult).
The boat tour was fun and relaxing and we saw a lot of wildlife.
There was also a back country tour by boat available. Nice, slow, narrated adventure. We really enjoyed it. The boats were safe and big.
The marina store had souvenirs, food and drinks (including alcohol). Public restrooms were available.

Great boat tour! We did the back country boat tour and had such a good time! Our guide Carl was super knowledgeable and fun! I don’t remember our boat captains name but anytime we saw an animal he’d back up and slow down to get back to it so everyone could see it. Both were great at spotting everything, even the very hidden crocodiles. We did the last tour at 3pm and it was beautiful. Although this time of year (February) the wind can get chilly when going fast, so I recommend a jacket.

Everything you need and more. Boat rentals, river tours, houseboat rentals and a couple boat ramps. The camp store has everything you're going to need for your stay here. It took us about an hour to drive out of the park to a grocery store for stuff like fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, orange juice, milk, and eggs. They'll probably have this stuff by the time you visit because they were talking about it while we were there. They even have fuel for your vehicle. Also, they have a couple huge crocodiles swimming around the marina. We are definitely going to visit Flamingo Park again, which means we will visit this marina again

Great 90 minute boat tour! Saw crocodiles, a manatee, and a dolphin. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. There is a nice gift shop with snacks and sandwiches. No ATM close by though.

This is an excellent boat launch area. The kayaks are in good shape and the employees are helpful. We paddled out to Snake Bight in Florida Bay and dozens of species of birds. Be sure to reach Snake Bight in high tide to avoid getting stuck. We also paddled to Coot Bay via Buttonwood Canal and saw many American Crocodiles. Highly recommend Florida Bay and if you have time, the canal. Florida Bay has amazing birding. There are also Manatees in the harbor.
