Dr. James Phillips Jr., DO

Had my first appointment with Dr. James Phillips this morning after my primary care doctor referred me to him a few months ago. I got the impression from the scheduling of this appointment that this is a busy doctor! When I arrived this morning, in short order three other people came in and said "Dr. Phillips!" Luckily I was called back soon after those additional patients arrived. I must say that I was impressed with Dr. Phillips ... knowledgeable, personable, conservative on treatment, handsome and youthful. A friend of mine told me back in late 2021 after my emergency major abdominal surgery with a youthful Irish surgeon, that the young doctors are BETTER. You know, I do think so! More up-to-date and knowledgeable about newer treatments and not stuck in their old ways!!

After I received a hip injection, I couldn't believe that I was more myself and walking more normally than in many months. I definitely would recommend Dr. Phillips and look forward to seeing him again in 3 months time. Anything we can do to postpone hip replacement surgery is definitely on my agenda. Thanks Dr. Phillips and staff. Oh, and great location and nice building and offices!!

We used Doctor Phillips this our second time and he is great.

Great doctor, listens, cares and treats every patient like family. He's young, dynamic and thorough.
