(July 15, 2019, 11:34 pm)Pretty good trailhead. It is more remote than some of the other trailheads in the area. It’s also less busy most of the time. Painted Rocks and Rule Ridge are more accessible to the highway. I’m only docking a star because there are no restrooms or forest information at the trailhead. Still a good spot to unload and closer to the gulches.
(May 22, 2019, 1:02 pm)Good camping spot. Watch out for atv'ers. I like to take my telescope her for night trips. Also free RV over night (up to a week) in this area. Some roads are very bumpy. Fire reclamation still on going though.
