The guy opened early to help another couple of cyclists and then fixed my goat head flats and put sealant in my new tubes while I waited. Reasonable prices, great selection, knowledgeable mechanic, and fast service!

(March 29, 2019, 1:41 pm)The best bike shop. Open Air, friendly people. So helpful and not at all snobby. I wasn't really planning on buying a bike from them (I'm a craigslist person), just some parts, but they were really just so great I couldn't help it.
(October 18, 2018, 12:36 pm)I shopped all of my local bike shops for a bit of advice (validation mostly)on bike fitment issues that I was having with my current road bike. I was commonly met with the standard, "it's gonna cost..." with prices ranging from $50.00 - $125
00. Which is fine. I get it. You're in business to be in business. No problem. But, Wait! What?. I have to wait a week? Really???
That wasn't the case when calling on, Ventura Bike Depot. I was listened to, as in "I hear you". Told that I could swing by anytime I'd like so that my issues could be further discussed at length. Once there, Alternative solutions were offered, discussed, and considerations reviewed, and not once was I made to feel that I was somehow imposing on their time. The end result was a discussion that lasted all of about ten minutes, validation and peace of mind over what I had already suspected to be the most viable solution. And the kicker, "No Charge". What?!?.
The bottom line for this establishment here is simply, " Client first and foremost" How could I not leave my Road Cycle there to be worked on. (Which I did)
If you're looking for excellent knowledgeable service and solid ethos in a company, then look no further. This is that place.
