Shelf is a great road to walk, run, or a warm up to more hiking right above it. Right now everything is green and beautiful!

Very easy/flat hike, overlooking the orchards of Ojai valley. Dog friendly!

Great trail for jogging and dog walking with view of Ojai. Not much shade so go on cool days mornings and evenings.

Easy hiking trail, there is alot of up and downhill, but it is all fairly flat. Shelf is a fire road and its a great spot for beginner hikers, or those who are out of shape but would still like their fill of nature.
