(November 12, 2020, 11:14 am)We have been wanting to go up to Malibu for some really great fish and chips but with the distance and Covid we have not been able to. We recently found this place in our local area and was blown away by how great the food was. Gotta say our whole family loved is and will be back again. Also recommending it to everyone.
(October 27, 2020, 8:38 pm)1st time trying out this place tonight after reading a few suggestions on FB La Mesa Happenings Group! We were a little put back by the menu prices at 1st until the food came and the serving sizes are Huge & Quality Freshness is reflected!! Perfectly fried crisp beer-batter over plump tender perfectly flaky fish! Family of 2 adults, 1 teen, 1 child cost about $60 so WORTH IT! We are all fat and happy now! NOTEWORTHY MENTION: My 11yr old daughter LOVED her corn dog! I stole a taste & it reminds me of the fair corn dogs! You can tell they hand dip fresh there in the restaurant! So flicking good. We also tried the pork lumpia OH WOW! Found my new place! Can't wait to try more of the menu!
(October 11, 2020, 11:13 pm)I didn't even know this place was here, despite driving past it for almost a year. At first glance I thought the pricing was a bit high, but after eating the food, it was totally worth every cent. In my opinion, it would give Mr. Fish n Chips a run for it's money. I highly recommend if you're in Lemon Grove and hungry for Fish and Chips, give this place a shot.

(August 5, 2020, 2:19 am)I just moved to the area and the clam chowder here is at par with the one at Pier 39 in SF. The calamari, shrimp and fish were definitely packed with flavor. Their hot sauce there has a bit of a tang. The French fries also very crispy and I do not feel super greasy after eating. Overall a very good restaurant. Owner is very sweet and friendly.
