Pause Coffee House

1st time in. Super great hidden gem! Great coffee and breakfast was actually nice too. Far better than your typical chain and the atmosphere was perfect but not cramped. I could be wrong but, I believe the owner was actually working the counter along with her staff. She was very kind and handed me a free drink pass! That was was wayy cool! I will definitely be back! The only slight con, was there was no sign on the parking lot side of the building.That would really help newcomers. Thanks!

Hipster local coffee shop. Lots of seating in and outside. Nice atmosphere. Very good latte. Tried the drip coffee sample...would not recommend the variety they had today. Mixture of earl Grey, coffee, and other items. Will stick with specialty drinks for now.

Came in for a business meeting, left a convert. I'll say this: don't go in expecting Starbucks. I waited about 5 minutes start to finish while the person in front of me ordered and the person behind the counter fiddled with the register. When I finally got to the counter the order started with my being asked whether I would be paying by cash or card, because it changed the way the plugged in the order in the system. But I ordered a decaf oat milk maple latte (12 oz. only if it's not to-go, $7 all in), and received it just a few minutes later. The mug was full to the brim and had the foam piped in the shape of a heart.

Y'all, this coffee was AMAZING. The roast itself was perfect - strong, but not over-roasted. And the maple, which can easily be overpowering, was noticeable but not overly prominent. It was just the right amount of sweet and rich.

Maybe the register issues were just a fluke, maybe they're a regular thing, but the quality of the product will certainly keep me coming back when I have time.
