(July 4, 2022, 4:45 pm)What a great hike...take some water, backpack, hiking stick, hiking shoes, the path was uneven but easy to walk, its clearly marked and there are a few gates you have to go through. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Have fun.
(April 4, 2021, 11:12 am)March '21. The entrance to the trail is down a paved lane off highway 74 at the fire station. It is a beautiful area full of oak trees. The trail is a little rocky here and there but not too hard and definitely worth the effort. It is well marked. You feel like you're out in the middle of nowhere but it's only a 45 minute drive from PS. The area is so pretty and there were still some snow patches.
(June 10, 2019, 10:50 am)Beautiful trail which brings you to the top with magnificent views. Just did it (June 9, 2019) and flowers were everywhere and gorgeous.
