Skyline park is a true gem, nestled in the foothills of the southern Napa Valley. This wilderness park is a true example of what old world Napa used to be, hopefully this place will stay untouched by greedy land developers who have gobbled up much of the Napa Valleys scenic countryside clear cut for vineyards.

Hiking, mountain biking, horse riding (BYO bike or horse), disc golf, archery, camping all available at this community run park. Extensive trails with wildlife and spectacular views, from creeks to ridgetops. Bring water in the summer, it can get hot. Can get a little muddy in wet weather.

Excellent for disc golfing. They are currently re-mastering the lower nine into 27 holes, (base 9 and 18 alternates). Excellent views. Other people come for camping, archery, or taking out their horses.

Skyline Wilderness Park is an awesome county park in Napa. It is located close to downtown Napa so you do not have to travel far out at all to get here. It is $5 to park and bathrooms are located in the parking lot. There are all sorts of trails to choose. The lady at the ranger booth recommended the Lake Marie Road to get to Lake Marie.
