Marin Lodge

What a little gem of a place! Stayed 5 nights the last week of November. Place is spotless, bed is comfortable, feels very private and cozy. Some traffic noise but can't hear any noise at all from other guests. Coffee in the office is very good. Good location close to highway. We liked it so much after the first 2 nights that we extended our stay for another 3 nights. Would 100% stay again.

Recently renovated and really nice. Even though it is right off the freeway, the room was very quiet… well except for the mini-fridge that kept kicking in. The rooms are well appointed and the beds were comfortable. This quiet lodge is a great place to stay.

The owners are so kind and made us feel very welcome. They even made special arrangements for our extremely late check in. You get a top quality hotel just outside SF, perfectly in between wine country or the city’s many attractions. They even provide an easy and quick breakfast pickup. It’s a very generous place to stay and we loved it.

Charming place. Clean and quiet enough. Rented 4 rooms for a wedding party. They had a nice place to sit outside and had bottled water and a light breakfast as well. The owners were also super nice and were able to get everything into place for us and get people to the right rooms and even helped us switch rooms early since we moved to a large room in-between days.

Things to know:
-Small parking lot is fine for cars but not a long wheelbase truck. There is street parking right below the motel parking lot but apartments across street use that, too.
-Underneath it all, this is an older motel (50s?) that has been very tastefully updated and well maintained/loved. It is inherent that the walls are a little more on the thin side than modern construction. So, you can hear voices as people come from their car to their room and feel and hear the neighboring room's door slam shut. It's just not something the owner can do anything about. I am a light sleeper and I loved everything else about the place so can overlook this one thing. Hopefully by reading this, patrons might remember to be considerate and careful in their comings and goings during their stay.
