Palla Raffaello Elementary

My son's first year at Palla was great. I was very happy with his teacher. Now that this school year is about to start, I have another child about to start at Palla too. I hope this year is another great one for both my children.

At Palla there is a strong emphasis on teaching children how to be good human beings as well as teaching them the academics that are required. To the parent to complained that a child had to sit out of class because they wouldn't say they were sorry, I imagine that the child had to do school work while sitting there. I also commend the educators that taught that child the lesson that they are not the center of the universe and that they need to be responsible for their behavior.

I do hope the parent of that child did something more than pat little Johnny on the head and tell him he was right for not saying he was sorry and lie to him and tell him he was nothing more than a victim. Come on, as adults, we need to be cognizant of those around us -- part of the reason the world is like it is is because so many adults aren't cognizant of that.
