Honestly, this is a great school! Of course, every school has it's ups and downs, but I truly feel like Clovis High does a really good job at dealing with those probems and helping students through them. They have an exellent choir and drama program, and the same with all sports here. I believe that Clovis High School is an exellent high school and deserves to be rated higher. Just because there may be rude people here sometimes doesn't make it a bad school. No one's ever really been mean to me here. :)

UGH! I can't believe I'm graduating this year! As much as I said, "I hate this school", I really loved it. They have their stuff organized and ready, awesome staff, and terrific students. WAY TO GO CHS! I LOVED THIS SCHOOL!

A very nice high school indeed. Many students complain about the dress code, but sometimes they forget that IT IS NOT THE SCHOOL'S FAULT. Complaints should be sent to the district - so why blame it all on the school? There is a lot of diversity, which is always a good thing. There are so many wonderful teachers who are willing to help students, and I know very well, from first hand experience, that some students are just undeserving brats. Some of these students blame teachers for the most absurd and ridiculous things; for example, I had a freshman English teacher who had all the good intentions to help us succeed in her class, and the first thing you know, you see some students being so disrespectful, claiming that she was "rude" or "mean" when it was THEM who would constantly interrupt her teaching. She went out of her way to help us, gave us candy, etc. My point is, some teachers are judged way too harshly and unfairly, and it angers me to see this amount of hypocrisy among some of the students, always saying negative stuff about some of the nicest teachers. I am not saying all teachers are angels, but many teachers deserve to be treated with more respect by their students. One of the important things I learned in Clovis High was to view teachers beyond what they represent in class - and that is, as HUMANS. Respect must be earned. I was here to witness the various renovations that took place, and I am glad I did because the school looks much more wonderful. One of my minor complaints is that they don't have too much diversity among AP classes (for those students who actually like to challenge themselves). I wish they would have AP Comparative Government and not just AP US Government. I also wish they had AP Art classes. I believe they should expand the AP class options, that way students can actually find something that fits their interests. Overall, I had 4 solid years that I will never forget; everyone is pretty much open to one another. If you don't have school spirit at first, I can almost guarantee that by the time you become a senior, you will be proud to have been a Cougar. I was not the most spirited person on campus, but after having graduated this year, I can honestly say that I am proud to had been a Cougar - but as they say, once a Cougar, always a Cougar! I would highly recommend this school for any future students, and please, don't take anything for granted, because no one is here to please your selfish desires.

Never been there, but want to ask why there are no hints here or on the school's website or the city's website about the "best wrestling team in California's history" of 2012? I watched some Youtube video and found it inspiring. Their superiority is apparent in the videos, though I must admit it was highlights footage I saw. What - is this a different Clovis, or what?
