Head-Royce School

Head-Royce School (HRS) is an amazing Independent (Private) School (K-12) in the Bay Area. It reminds me of Friends (Quaker) Schools on the East Coast, ie Moorestown Friends School in NJ, Germantown Friends, and Friends Select in Philadelphia.

Care, Compassion, Nurturing, Equity, Social Justice, School-Wide Community meetings, AND engaging academic classes; teachers who inspire children and adolescents to inquire, interact, and to shape their own learning. You can feel that the teachers and staff really like working there, appreciate diversity, learning differences, and positive school climate.

HRS High School is relatively small, college-prep school with high expectations as far as academic achievement and behavior. HRS has an inchoate wellness program and is well known for supporting youth (+ parents and guardians) through the college-application process.

If you are looking for a school with all the skills your child needs this is the place, we are having a open house on the sixteenth of this month you need to go. There is a swim class, you even swim for P.E. starting 2ed grade and up. and this school is K-12 and the best education you will ever see.

Amazing school, very nurturing environment! Head-Royce School is truly a community.

I will be going there until high school and it seems that the school has good education there.Also during my visit it looked like a nice place and can't wait to go there for the summer program.And all those people who say nice things about this school make me want to go here and it seems I'll have a good time there.
