Strange little hillside park. Nice hike up and around through well-conserved woodlands

Small woodsy area. Moderately steep trail loops around it. A pleasant way to spend about an hour.

Very unique park in that it is a vast hiking trail as well with a few historical spots within that must have been enjoyed by early berkeley residents long before urbanization of the area. This is often a connecting trail/park that I run through in the mornings, it has many pathways and outlets so it makes for a good place to explore, the management of this area take very good care of this space and are always working to improve it. You can access this park from behind Claremont hotel or from the connected neighborhoods above.
