Love this Church. The Pastor isn't main stream. He is truly a good man. He is knowledgeable and I really learn something about myself and how to stay focused on what's important in life EVERY time I go there. It's like a reboot every time I go. Thank you.

The people were very welcoming from the moment we walked in. Despite our being late (which makes me feel self-conscious, especially when going to a new place), we were lovingly directed to the chapel with kind smiles. The message was solid: being a Christian isn't all about what you SAY--it's about what you DO, how you LIVE. After the service, we were approached by a church member who had been there something like 15 years. It seemed like he sincerely wanted to get to know us, and he and his wife even invited us to have lunch with them that day! (This kind man has even reached out to my husband via text a few times since to see how he's doing and invite him to church men's events. How kind!) We were given a visitor's booklet when we left, which was super helpful in detailing church beliefs and other information about First Christian Church of Tempe. ~ Overall the church was welcoming, loving, seemed Bible-based, and traditional but relevant. Appears to be a lovely community of believers.
