Manna BBQ

They practice social distancing so getting a seat during rush hour can be iffy. Their bulgogi is still the best in town. Must try beef tongue, only 1 per table tho so time it wisely. I always start with beef belly to give the plate some extra bit of flavor before grilling other meat.

My girls brought me here for mother's day and I really enjoyed the experience. The food was great and the staff was friendly and quick.

Jump to three years today 2/18/22, the food is still great. The staff was not so great. Our server was busy because there was only two but ours was super snippy and not very friendly. She didn't refill our drinks until the last few minutes we were there. The last ten minutes we got a new server and holy cow was a difference. My daughter and I would have had a more enjoyable experience if we had the latter server from the beginning.

It's been a few months since I was last here. During that time they've made some very welcome changes. The most important changes are on selection of appetizers and quantity of food. Previously, each meat you ordered came out with enough for 8 regardless of your group size. They now bring out much smaller portions which I feel is much better and results in much less waste. You're able to try more variety of meats without leaving a significant portion. The addition of gyoza to the menu is also very welcome. I have to say, it's very likely I'll be coming back here to get my Korean fix over the competitor down the street. The only disappointment was that not only did our server not understand the Korean names of food, but he generally was quite unfamiliar with the various food choices.

I came to Manna while visiting Phoenix from Flagstaff. The all-you-can eat selection was incredible, as were the banchan (side-dishes). Our server, Anny, made sure we had everything we needed and made great recommendations for what to try. If you've never tried Korean BBQ before, Manna is an awesome experience (you grill everything right at your own table), and if you love Korean BBQ then I have no doubt you'll find exactly what you are looking for.
