The Wellness Tree

A year and some months ago I started therapy at The Wellness Tree. Shelley Geary has been my counselor. I started therapy due to a life situation that was hard to adapt to. Shelley was my guide to calm unpleasant emotions, think with clarity, reach a healthy emotional state, and taught me self-compassion. I have learned from my therapy sessions with Shelley a lot more than I imagined when I signed up for therapy with her. I recommend The Wellness Tree to anyone who asks me about my progress through my circumstances. My heart expands a deep sense of gratitude to everyone working at The Wellness Tree. I have worked with this staff of counselors and psychiatrists for approximately 9 months now and I have been treated incredibly kind. You are treated as an individual opposed to just your medical record. In moments of crisis I was able to reach out for help and actually speak with someone as the crisis was unfolding. I truly believe in patient driven care, and the Wellness Tree sets the standard for meeting that mark. I have poly-diagnoses for many reasons related from life abroad and even with the challenges I present as a patient; I am equally meet with thoughtfulness, clever minded approaches and a willingness to be heard and guided through or to a successful mind.
