(August 31, 2018, 12:58 pm)Fabulously preserved medieval buildings and worth exploring inside. Most outside is first attraction, then the main house and grounds. Courtyard needs to be seen and it's so tranquil. Could easily return for another visit. Cafe onsite does nice coffee and cakes while other food available. Play and picnic areas available so fun for all the family.

(May 1, 2017, 3:52 pm)A cute moated medieval manor house. Past visitors include writer Henry James, actress Ellen Terry and painter John Sergeant. A great place to visit. Good for picnics. It is in Kent.
