(August 29, 2017, 2:41 pm)I have had an allotment here for 4 years and enjoy the peace of the place. There is an abundance of wildlife including woodpeckers and robins. I'm not aiming to be self-sufficient in veg, just enjoy the exercise and break from the noise of 'real' life. Some people have been there for years and will offer advice if you ask.
