Highams Park Lake

A beautiful place, part of Epping Forest, with a Council park with all the amenities alongside. The areas around the lake get very muddy in wet weather, but otherwise there are some lovely walks. There is a cafe with toilets in the park. Parking can be difficult. London Overground and buses W16, 212, and 275 are nearby at Highams Park station.

Beautiful nature reserve, I've visited multiple times and will continue to visit for years to come. I would recommend to anyone to check this place out, maybe even go for a cycle through here as there are many twists turns and bumps.

Good for dog walking, there's a path right round the lake as well as an adjacent park.

Beautiful finish for a nice walk through the forest

I passed here on a 16KM walk, it was very nice (the walk not so!) I enjoyed the view.
