Good food and friendly staff. Always a winner.

Lovely little tea room that caters for both sweet and hearty tooths. Best chocolate swirl cheesecake ever, so, so creamy! Chantilly cream was delicious too. My eye also fell upon the most amazing merengues ever, but sadly I did not have room in my stomach for them after having eaten the cheesecake ;-) Brunch was good, except for the fact that - due to the fact that it was very busy - the poached eggs of both my friend and I were somewhat overcooked. Therefore four stars instead of five.

Good food, warm & welcoming after a cold bike ride.

Lovely cafe selling great coffee and wonderful cakes. They also offer a nice breakfast and lunctime menu. Visit otherwise you'll miss a treat.

Is there a better tea room in East Anglia? We've been to many in Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk that are both excellent in what they provide and still excellent value for money. Wood Cottage is right up there with the best. Lovely place, lovely people and lovely food.
