This is the book store that Anne Frank's father bought her the diary. We arrived a few minutes after they closed for the day. However, when the owner of the store heard my fiancée talking about Anne Frank, he sprung up and insisted we look around. He was extremely knowledgeable and seemed passionate. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys history and has a passion for these stories. This is also a very infrequently visited place so you won't feel inundated with other tourists! Also, don't forget to visit her childhood apartment. Address is 37-2 on the same street as the bookstore.

I just had one of those nice experiences that make your day. The place is beautiful and the man working there was absolutely lovely. Super friendly, nice and kind. He even recommended me a place to visit in Berlin and asked me to tell him about it via email 😅

I also loved how they packed the book.
