‪Henri Willig Cheese Farm Store

This is the classic cheese shop that you would find around Amsterdam, but I want to make special mention of this one because we were treated very nicely by the staff working there. We were offered the possibility to try all the cheese available in the shop (even some they were not cutting at the time), as well as provided with interesting explanations on the cheese composition, varieties and so forth. We enjoyed the cheese tasting (and shopping) and the conversation.

They have an excellent collection of cow,goat and sheep cheese. The chutneys were also great. The Sweet chili one was the best in my opinion. The employees were really kind and knew the cheese pairings well. Also the store looks nice and clean.

Incredible! A wonderful store - with a great selection. There are classic and very special creations of cheese, and you can try all sorts. Various dips to go with the cheese are also available in the shop. You can also taste these at any time. You can put together all the items yourself, but lovingly designed gift sets with great wooden boards and matching cheese cutters are also available. Great! I'm absolutely thrilled.

Cheese shop where you can find the perfect souvenir for all food lovers. They sell the cheeses individually or in packs and also have typical jams and biscuits.
💰 Good value for money

Absolutely gorgeous place down a little side street. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. The cheese selection is amazing, and they have plenty out for you to try, along with the cheese dips that they also sell. I think we ended up spending around €150. They also do lovely little gift sets. Which is where we spent our moneys. I will visit here every time I'm in Amsterdam for sure.
